While I do not agree with his choice of Batemen, I am glad to see that he is supporting who he believes is best for the job. While some view it as being disloyal to the party I view it as being loyal to his conscience and his country. We cannot continue to elect bad people to office just because of party. As long as Redmond does not use his position to undermine Moran’s election I say, thank God a Republican leader has finally stood up for who he believes in and not who the party says he should support. If only there were more like Redmond, I think this county and the country as a whole would be better served.
